The end of furlough and the new Job Support Scheme

Recent months have been seen the Government support small businesses through the Coronavirus Job Retention or Furlough scheme. Chadwick & Company founding Director, Michael Chadwick, summarises the new changes to the Government’s financial support packages.

Expert accounting

We provide accounting services for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies of all sizes, ensuring year end accounts are kept in good order. Working as your outsourced finance department, we provide accounting services that go well beyond statutory requirements, delivering valuable financial information to support and guide your business decisions.

With many decades of senior-level accountancy experience between them, our directors and senior accountants underpin our expert accounting teams. We invest heavily in staff training and development to ensure your accounts are managed by a skilled and knowledgeable team.

Our accountants

You need your accounts to be accurate, compliant and timely. Our experienced team provides this and more. We interrogate the numbers to delve deeper into your business, then provide innovative recommendations to help drive your business forward.

In addition to annual accounts, our expert team can help with:

  • Payroll administration
  • VAT return preparation
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Cash flow management.

We also offer further management accounting services including:

  • Budgetary control
  • Variance analysis
  • Performance measurement
  • Ratio analysis
  • Management accounts.

We provide all these to keep you fully informed on the essentials of running a successful business.

Forensic accounting

Our team of qualified accountants have in depth experience in statutory auditing and can put this to use in forensic accounting.

Forensic accounting can cover fraud, loss of earnings, contract disputes etc. and is not limited to large or medium sized businesses. We have dealt with a number of cases where the fraud in a small company is perpetrated by a ‘trusted’ employee over a number of years. We work closely with you to identify the fraud, calculate the monetary value of the fraud and provide a report for use by yourselves in any action taken as a result.

Any concerns you have, small or large, are dealt with sympathetically and with discretion.

Why choose us?

We offer a flexible service which can be delivered on a continuing basis, or for temporary, short term or specialist cover. We are also happy to use your own established systems or our in-house accounting software. We are experienced online accounting advisors and have achieved Gold Champion Partner status with XeroGold ProAdvisor status with QuickBooks, are a FreeAgent Partner, plus members of the Sage Accountants Network. We can operate these cloud based accounting systems and others, either on your behalf or working alongside your staff.

We can base ourselves in your offices or work remotely in ours. Many of our clients regularly call in to our office to meet their dedicated accounting manager, whereas other customers prefer us to visit their business premises. On site visits also give us an opportunity to provide training and ongoing support for staff, tailored to your specific business needs.
