Founding Director

Our sector specialist for corporate finance at Chadwick & Company is the business’ founding director, Michael Chadwick. FCA and FCCA qualified, he specialises in providing corporate financial advice to a range of local businesses.

At the beginning of his career, Michael completed his accountancy training with a medium sized firm in Manchester. He found he enjoyed the industry and the challenges it brought, working for Price Waterhouse in Manchester and Coopers & Lybrand in the Middle East. He has over 40 years’ experience across a wide range of business sectors, including manufacturing and engineering, nursing homes, the medical profession and service companies.

An enviable reputation

Michael founded Chadwick & Company in 1983. In the beginning, it was Michael and four part-time employees. Michael recognised the need for a friendly, trusting business when he established Chadwick & Company – a place where clients could get to know their accountancy advisors and feel comfortable discussing monetary matters in a relaxed environment. This approach to professional advice has led to Chadwick & Company enjoying both longevity and an enviable reputation.
